How We Work - Phase 1

Phase 1:
Concept Design + Development

One of our design engineers will meet with you, your architect and designer to identify your lifestyle needs, architectural design and budget parameters, while introducing you to the technologies that will allow us to create your vision. The earlier in your development process that you involve us, the more options and flexibility we will have in creating the infrastructure for your needs.

When we have gathered your information, our creative and engineering teams design your system. Not just your system for today, but to make sure that your system can incorporate new technologies in the future. Additionally, we also have lighting designers who can design a full home lighting plan complete with 3D rendering.

Lastly, we prepare your custom proposal for your review. This proposal includes a scope of work (SOW). Written in plain English that explains all the work and clearly defines the job scope as discovered during our meetings; carefully maintaining your home’s architecture and design.

This phase is provided at no charge.


How We Work - Phase 2

Phase 2:
Design Execution

Once you have committed to a scope of work, our design team works with yours to precisely locate speakers, lights, TVs, touch screens and other necessary devices. When complete, our engineering and CAD team create wiring diagrams and architectural drawings specifying your design. We meet with your design team, general contractor and relevant trades to exchange information and documentation to ensure successful execution.

  • System designers and/or Project Managers attend site meetings throughout your project to maintain continuity and to quickly address modifications.
  • Technicians test in-wall wiring at key points during the course of your project to make sure that wiring integrity is maintained.
  • Rack specialists pre-build (where possible) your system prior to installation to allow us to test equipment, reduce site time and impact on other trades.
  • Certified programmers load and debug your custom program to assure the functionality and design specifications of your system.

During the installation of your equipment, our Project Managers and technicians pay careful attention to detail and take extra care in protecting your home and finishes.

Phase 3:
Enjoying Your New System

When your project is completed, and your vision has taken shape your designer and/or project manager will guide you through the system operation to ensure your ease of use and comfort.
